If you are going to find out what hurts go run on a treadmill. Skiing off piste this winter II tangled with a tree my left knee taking the impact. Sine then from time time I get a sudden brief pain in my left knee when running. Its no big deal because I simply run through it ... pain goes away. The treadmill is where this shows up the most so if its persistent for more then a few foot falls I simply walk 3 km and that's what I did today.
