Best Running Picture of 2018

This picture was shot 10/14/2018 @ 6:34 pm in the Moab Desert.    This was my second pacing assignment running with Grant between "Dry Valley" and " Wind Whistle"  aid stations.  It was super cold ,  1C into a constant 50 kmh wind...brutal.   What should have took us 4 hours ended up closer to 8.  Grant developed a lean and was moving very slowly stopping often to stretch.   His Moab 240 ended after he competed this segment logging more then 155 mile in 2.5 days.

No races this month but I did get  wanted it to be 3 but thats December for you!   Only took it outside once and that was a little Snowshoe...I am really not all that fond of running in the cold.

Weekend Run

Friday was a rest day ,  Saturday it was another 30 km on the track at the Owen Sound Y and then Sunday was another rest day!

Run and Lift

5K on my meal break this evening followed by an upper body weight routine.

November 2018 Totals

November -    231.4 km
YTD          - 2,476.1 km

One race in early November " The Beav" 50 km trail...it was cold!    Got two more long ones in the second half of the month doing 30Kers on the track at the Y.    Even got a little shoe in too!   November got me where I want to be heading into the new year ...always 50K ready!
