January Totals

 January -  129.5 km

Starting to build volume now.  I was away on a ski trip the month began with 9 consecutive days of not running.   Also running slower but ended the month at a 7:00 pace on the treadmill.  I will continue to get faster with the goal to get to a 6:00 pace soon.

Two Walk Monday

 7 km walk on the treadmill last night,  12:00 pace.   I had some time to kill and was back so I hot the gym.  I was too tired to run so I walked watching YouTube Videos!

Monday - No Water

 Sewage issues at work ,   no shower today so I did a 4K walk at a 12:00 pace today on my meal break. 

Weekend

 Took a rest day Saturday.   Didn't feel like running outside in the cold and snow on Sunday so I hit the gym logging 14 km on the treadmill at a 7:00 pace.   Building volume now ,  16 km goal next weekend .   Still running slow its seems to agree with the left knee but I do want to get back to a 6:00 goto pace soon but like the volume I will gradually get faster unless something flares up.

At the beginning of November I was in Sakatoon working and doing a run after work most days.  I picked up a classic head cold that turned into a bit of Bronchitis.  This out me out of commission not running for 10 days.  At the beginning of December I made a Ski trip to Whistler and at the end of the month it was another Ski trip to Europe.   Whilst on both trips there was no time for running.

Lunch Run

 5 km today at lunch.  Been running super slow,  7:30 pace.  Cranked it up to 6:00 pace for the last K.  Nothing hurts so running slow has been key component.   Want to get it back to a mostly 6:00 pace in the next month or so.

Back Again

 5.2 km on the backyard trail today.   This was my first run of 23 ,  I have been on a Ski vacation since the end of December.
