February Summary

 Highlight of the month was getting 3 long ones in 18,21 and then 24 km a good start om building some volume.   All of the runs were on the treadmill.   Looking forward to winter being over and the snow going so I can hit the trails again.   


20 X Treadmill = 159.5 km

YTD = 289 km



Last February 2023 "Run"

  Didn't finish the month with a run instead I logged a 5 km walk on the treadmill.   Walked for no other reason other then I thought it would be nice and relaxing.

Long Thursday

 Added a little more volume to the long one this week logging 24 km in 2hrs45min.    Ran a steady 6:45 pace through 23 km then walked the last one at a 12:00 pace.   It was another fantastic treadmill run at the gym at work.   As soon as the weather warms up a bit and the snow goes away I will take it outside.

Mid 7

 Wrapped up this series of mids with a 12km run at a 6:45 pace.   It felt really good I could have easily made this a long run.

Mid 5 - Got some pop!

 Improved ever so slightly on the sleep end of things today making way for a wee bit more pop in the legs for this morning run logging a much easier 5K.

Mid 2

 Less sleep then yesterday but needed to get a lunch run in.  Took an early break and logged a 5 ker at a 6:45 pace.   Glad to be done ,  actually enjoyed the run!

Mid 1

 3.5 km walk on the treadmill during my meal break this morning.   

Going long Saturday

  Hit the Gym at work late Saturday afternoon logging a 21 km run.   Ran 20 km at a 6:45 / 9 kmh pace then walked 1 km at a 12:00 pace.   I really enjoyed the run watching various YouTube videos then switching it up o music videos in the last 45 minutes.  Total time was around 2hrs25min.

Walk

 Back to lousy sleep this week so I didn't feel like running so it was 3 km at a 12:00 pace this evening.   It was very enjoyable!

A wee bit faster!

 Upped todays lunch run to a 6:40 pace , 9 kmh.  Planning on doing all the short ones here for awhile before lobbing off another 20 seconds.   Its all about time on my feet and not making anything hurt slowly building the pace and volume.

Long Saturday

 Building volume did a 3 hour run at 7:00 pace then a 1K cool down after for a total of 18 km.     This was another treadmill run my go to venue this time of the year!
