Overlayed HR over elevation.
First 6 laps CW...
Second 6 laps CCW ...
Both segments were done in the same average pace. Going CW most of the elevation gain is in one short distance around 30 meters or so. Going CCW the elevation gain is over 200 meter distance or so...more gradual but a much longer climb. In each segment I walked the last climb. HR dropped on the walk and took awhile to return to the avg when I got going again. Going CCW is better because I pushed the HR up to Zone 3.
Hard to belive its the identical trail done at an identical pace!
